Sewing Lab

Why come to Sewing Lab?
A love of adornment is one of our most basic tendencies. It exists in all cultures, telling stories about who we are and how we see ourselves.
Come together is this class to make your own simple clothing and hone your sense of personal style. Be inspired to develop your skills in a group of fun-loving women. Start with Easy home projects and sooner than you think you’ll be making clothing. Check out Lookbook to see what students made over the years at Sewing Lab!
If you already are an accomplished sewist, join the group for all the good energy that a supportive group dynamic creates.

Who comes to Sewing Lab?
Most students come to Sewing Lab because they want to learn to make their own simple clothing but many come to work on special interest projects; home textiles and mending for instance. Some have signed up because they have a small business and want to polish up the construction of their wares. Some advanced or intermediate sewists come to be part of a supportive group and for expert guidance.  Sewing Lab is scheduled in 4 week sessions. Each weekly class is 2.5 hours. You may choose evening or daytime sewing lab. Bring your own machine, project and supplies. Class size is max 4 students. Please contact me if you want more information!
